-sets up a tray of cookies-
So, when did you know that our dear lady Jo Rowling had stolen your heart forever?
For me, that moment was when the cat that had been watching Number Four Privet Drive all day turned out to be a woman named Minerva. <3

-steals all cookies!-
Honestly, I didn't know of the books. I'm a huge movie bluff so I saw the trailer for the movie and I think I begged my mum to see it. I must have been like 11/12 at the time. I saw the movie and from the letter scene, I fell in love with it. I purchased the books pretty quickly and been with it since.

That's pretty awesome! A couple of people I know said that they've "grown out of the Potter fandom." I, personally, don't think I EVER will.

It's impossible to grow out of this fandom. I just think there is some completely magical about it. How are you Ra?

Oh dear, is there a great deal to catch up on and will you get through it quickly? I'm good. Busy as a bee. Training lots of people on my project. We have a revamp in two weeks so I'm going to be swamped. But otherwise really good. You liking the site?
Sorry for not replying to your skype yesterday --- if it was logged in, it was likely my mom. Not home during that time of day

There's a TON to catch up on, and if it's not pleasure reading, I'm slow as molasses in January. >.< I'll just have to muddle, I suppose. It's seven different kinds of icky. Having to memorize research results about behavior management approaches, etc.
-gag-
But, we do what we must. Once I'm certified, I can get in a classroom and teach my subject my way.

I guess that could be handy with students whom may be unrurly, but I always love teachers who seemed passionate about the subject they taught. My science teacher was great in high school, very relatable. -nods- I think I am way better at reading something I have to, then pleasure reading. I tend to take too long reading -been reading wicked for like six months-

I am TOTALLY passionate about English, and particularly creative writing. I really, really, REALLY hope that comes across to my students. <3
-is dying to teach creative writing-

From my experience, my English teacher was not subjective to my creative writing -snorts-

A lot of teachers teach for the wrong reasons, I've found.
