Living in Richwoods
Welcome to Sunny, California, a small town with big money. Sunny seems like your typical quaint, postcard city; neighbors chatting while they're out walking their dog, community fundraisers, local high school sports, small time businesses and the likes. But under the facade, Sunny hides many dark secrets. In the hills of the city lies a gated community, Richwoods, where all of Sunny's elite live together. The mayor, Elliot Batista, and his beautiful wife, Josie; Joseph Masters, of Masters at Law; along with the James brothers, wealthy entrepeneurs, all take residence within Richwoods, as well as dozens of other well to do families.
Unbeknowst to the citizens of Sunny, most of these local idols live a dark, secret life, that they take care to keep hidden from the every-man. The mayor, Elliot, is an ancient demon, hell-bent on keeping all of the inhabitants of Richwoods under his thumb. His wife, Josie, is a powerful witch who uses her "modern medicine" store as a front for all of her supernatural sales. The James brothers are ancient, and currently fueding, vamps, who are conducting secret wars against each other to try to eke out the competition. And unkown to all of them, including Elliot, Joseph Masters is also an ancient demon, although his motives remain uncertain. A whole cast of supernatural beings inhabit Richwoods and make their living throughout Sunny, while the humans go about their day, clueless. Elliot thinks he is pulling all of the strings, the great conductor of this symphony of madness, but who pulls the strings on the puppeteer?
Just outside of Sunny, down a few, winding dirt roads, sits a self-sustaining compound sprawled across a few hundred acres of land. The Shong'achack Commune was built in the early twentieth century by a few Native American families and a few whole hearted white men. Since then it has expanded significantly to be the size of a small town, with dozens of families and hundreds of members. At the heart of the Shong'achack is The Pack, a motorcycle club that also acts as the "governing body" of the commune. Unknown to all but a few outsiders, the Shong'achack is actually a communal living of were-creatures and shifters, being led by Cheveyo "Chevy" Walker. Chevy is a strong leader with a simple goal, keep his people safe and keep the corruption of outside influence out of his back yard.
